I’m very sorry for not posting here in a while! Unfortunately, the website was hacked and some malicious code was installed in various places. You may have gotten a warning when you tried to visit this website in the past couple of weeks. Since this website is completely self-funded by myself and I do not have any programming experience, it took me a while to work out the the problem.
However, in true Scout Spirit, I did not let this down me, and I set to work on teaching myself how to find and fix the problem. It took many hours of work, but I can now happily say that the problem was successfully fixed and the website as good as new! I have taken quite a few measures to make sure this does not happen again.
In celebration of the reopening of the site, I have redone the “Images of a Movement” page, which you can find on the link to the right on the menu bar. There are now almost 500 historical images of the Scouting Movement. On the page, there are five slide-shows which neatly display the images as divided up into five different categories. The page might take a while to load, so please be patient. In addition, the slide-shows start up automatically, so you might want to pause them for faster loading.
Thanks to everyone who has been patient during this downtime! I want to come back and make 2013 the best year yet for Scouting Rediscovered, and I need you to help me! Please share this site with your friends, and feel free to interact in the comments section or on the accompanying forums. I would be happy to answer all of your questions!
Thank you for all of your support!
